    My v70 t5

So i managed to get another t5 and come back to the forum that i love and trust me seems to be the best run out of all the forums i have been on and i have been on a few of all different brands.
Well my last volvo was a p2 v70 t5 in silver and although i loved it to bits it just was not the same as the older ones that you can mess with the engine and not have your dash light up like a christmas tree lol.
Well i sold that one last year to then found out a few months later it had been used in a high profile robbery!! was a shock when i had the police knock at my door to tell me all about it.

After this i wanted another performance motor and decided to go over to the other side and bought my self a saab 9-3 turbo, i have always like to look of the saab's and if i honest i think they look better than most of the older volvos.
I think if i could have a mk1 saab 9-3 aero with the volvo t5 engine in it i would be a very happy man
So i bought the saab and all seemed well for a few weeks untill i started to mess with the turbo and stuff to find out the wastgate arm was stuck open and when i tryed to sort it out it broke the arm and nipple off the end, now not knowing there was 3 different turbos used on these models i asked on a well know saab forum, then only to be sent the wrong turbo then got ripped off when i sent it back and then for the forum mods/ admins to do nothing about it saying its down the the buyer and sellers on there ( thats why i said this forum is much better well head and shoulders above the rest).
Ok so this did not put my off them and decided to sell her on for parts and bought another, this time i put the aero bumpers and alloys on her and she looked pritty good.

Well the love affair lasted about 2 months, i did get her remapped to about 220bhp but she just did not have the pull of the volvos so once again i decided to break her for parts and move on lol.
In between getting the volvo i bought my self a ldv convoy 400 for the dogs so that was them sorted.

So the v70, i was'nt really looking to buy one but this one came up on ebay from where i used to live and she looked well what with the r front bumper/alloys, so i messaged the chap and we agreed a price (cheap) for her, now she had about 2 weeks mot left and he said she might need a wheel bearing.
So set off on the train that took me a few hours and arrived at the chaps house and i was very impressed with the motor, yes shes got a few dents but most can be sorted.
Drove faultless all the way home but the temp gauge never got to half way and the engine light was on
Got home and sorted out the temp with just a new thermostat and the light never came back, replaced a tyre on the front and took it for its mot witch it passed with the tester saying it was the one of the best if not the best cars hes had in for the age and miles, so big result.

Tidy that dude. Looks like a Teal R with the bumper & comets. Another Replika!!
I too left for another marque then spent 6 months looking for another.
    Is it me7 or preme7?
Like the saabs, nearly bought a 95 myself but knew it was no T5 even if a lad I know owns a saab engined astra that hit 540bhp last weekend. Lol

She has a set of the cheap coil overs on now from the other volvo im breaking, also changed the grill, wheels and fitted a cone filter + a chav valve and blanking plate lol and removed the roof bars also swapped the ecu's and think its been mapped as throttle response is alot better.
