    Valve stem seals

Putting new stem seals on the 850 and wondering how far on the guides to fit them, they seem quite hard to get on and I don't want to damage them trying to push them too far on, any help please? I have seen about using a 12mm socket and give them a couple of taps but don't want them too loose either, thanks

I lubed up the seal and the seal seat on the head and just pushed them home (with a socket), they only go on about 6-8mm, you should be able to see a lip that they seat against.

Thanks, will give it a look over, last thing I want is to put it all back together and a seal isn't on enough, cheers
