    timing belt too small?

    Hey all got a emergency issue need help badly. Replaced my water pump.n got a timing belt kit from pfv but I cant get the belt back on! It looks way too small Im out of ideas n need to be on the road at 11am. Help!

    Have you measured it against the old one? You probably have to release the tensioner, though not sure how you do it.

    There's to different lengths of belt Upto and from engine number's one kit is usually cheaper than the other so when peeps shop around for prices make sure your looking at the same belt.

    21 x143th is upto 131154

    23 x148th from eng 131155

    Worth baring in mind Your car may have had a engine change at some point.

    Other lads came in n we sussed it 1 horid quality cam tool was allowing on to wobble around n throwing me off and I needed someone to hold the pulley up while I put the tentioner in what a faf!
