    Dear all,

As of today ECM-TECH (sole trader) will be stopping trading. The site will stay up for the time being as a contact point for the very few customers that used it.

I thought I'd give it a go for a year or so but my tax return looks like a train wreck, to say the least. Also, I've literally put 1000's of hours in-to developing the tools with a negative return, also the bad outweighs the good and that is when it is time to move on for me.

I'd like to thank anyone for supporting me in my endeavours. In the future, I'm going to continue developing my own car in-to a hopefully reliable beast, I've been so busy with my day job that I haven't even fixed all of it's issues, and now an oil leak has appeared....

    Cheers guys.

    John.

Sorry to hear your business plan hasn't worked out, from what I've read on here your work has been very well regarded and appreciated.

    Good luck with the future!

That's a shame john with all the effort you have put in with the results you've achieved!

I'll still need a map for the p2 without limiter, shall I just contact you directly.

Shame to hear it didn't work out, but what you did gain was experience & that can be worth much more than never giving something a try.

This ^ is very true, I've learned a lot, a hell of a lot. Now it's time to focus on other things.

Never did get the car running long enough to take on your data logging software. Don't suppose there's a chance of a closing down sale?

    Dear VPC dudes.

All of my tech is in the process of being sold to a third party, one that you may well be aware of, don't worry it's not someone you hate on (last time I checked anyway lol).

All support will be transferred to the company buying it. For those who know me know that I am a straight shooter, and say things as they are, much to the annoyance of some.

Anyway I can assure you that would will be in good hands, and I will still be around too. The owner of the firm I know personally and he is a honest churchgoing american, and a good friend.

No its is not RICA, or ARD....

Peace guys, I'm glad it will go to some good use over the pond

On a personal note I am sad that the UK scene will not get it first but it will be hitting Europe at some point, The US market is gagging on it, and have been lapping it up ready of sorts those guys are mad!

I hope you guys may someday may come to appreciate the effort I went through for Volvo lovers

(I sold it for a grain of rice.........)

    Happy days.

    Regards,

p.s. I made some mistakes when starting out, some of them well before too, I regret each one so no hard feelings to anyone and peace. Don and Ben Lewis especially.

One happy happie dream3R aka John Currie signing off

An announcement will be made once the lawyers have done their thing (hope I don't get a Harvey Spector type lol)

Yes it's is a shame mate, it could of been a real success if the business/social side was done right, we all make mistakes, in the end it effected my health, to which I am still recovering unfortunately, so not worth it in the slightest. At least I hope to get paid

As for the IP of the tech it will be sold to the 3rd party. BUT I will be helping Shem with ME7, it's a long road so go easy on him guys, please. I am sure he won't make the same social mistakes a me, next time I'd forgo the forums tbh, not worth the stress. Anyway I thank you for your comment.

Gladly I'll still have access to the tech for my own needs so I plan to build a 500BHP R with ShemTek. Sounds like fun??????????????

I've seen my tech do 700+ on a dyno in the USA before the tubo sht its pants, so with a lot of effort it will be within reach I think. Yes Cavalli will be moved on, after taking the advice of others.

Yes that is my tech, one lapped up in the USA as well. We had a code sharing partnership.

I thought it was, as the map sensors are changed for the psi increase. Just got the car to near enough a place to map it, I'll either have to wait for Shem or approach Hilton.

But been working on the gul (now finished) and olive 855r (5% left to do) to keep me busy.

Got to tear my klracing intercooler apart too once nicci is back at work, to get it to fit.
