    How do you fit..

How do you fit obd2 dash clocks in a obd1 car? Is there any guides?

I have 150mph clocks and wish to fit 160mph ones.

    Thanks.

You need to splice the speed sensor into the abs wire or something.

    That's all I know.

You only have to splice into the abs if your swopping from an early gearbox to a later one. The speedo should adjust itself as they both obd1 & 2's will use the same type of sensor & voltages

I went the other way & went for an older cluster, I've no idea if the plugs or wiring are the same for the obd1 & 2. But you shouldn't need to touch the sensor end of the wiring

Clocks are in, everything works apart from the speedo, double checked all the connections and still not working. Turn the key to position 2 and the amongst the other lights the abs and tracs lights come on, start the car and the tracs goes out then the abs goes out when you start driving, once the abs light goes out the tracs light comes back on.

Any ideas? Does it sound like the speed sensor needs wiring to an abs sensor? Or a fault somewhere else?

Andy did tell me you were the one to ask. Is it straight forward enough to do? Does the abs wire run near to the speed sensor wire?
