    850 vs s70

    i have a 1996 ex police t5 salon and i was wondering if it worth trading it for an s70 ex police t5 whats the advantages. and what have u guys got top end out of your cars.

    In my opinion, I wouldn't buy an ex-police car. Swapping one ex-police car for another is a big gamble, as the condition is likely to be very crap. Course you could also find one that's ok, but the odds are you won't.

    Just my 2 pence worth.

    He is right y'know - it is a bit of a minefield, and unless you know what you are dealing with the money you save will go straight back into getting it straight.

    In our hot country, the plastics for the S70/40 just turn sticky (like M&Ms) as they used recycled plastics and sorts whereas the 850 & below are still okay. Do you find this in UK ?

    DYKT the thing about 850 dashboard is, the holding clips tend to crack/break off. The best is still the 940 series.
