    Lightbulb Do88 rip kit

I've been offered a do88 RIP kit by a Vpcuk member.
It's a good price & they are going to hold on to it for me until I have the funds. Saved myself a few quid.
My question is, will I be able to fit it on the standard airbox & piping still in place, I seem to recall reading I can't but can't seem to find it now.

My rip kits I've made still had the intake pipe in place, but they are similar to do88. It's a bugger if you can't keep it.

I've toyed with the idea of an induction kit but to be honest I'm happy with the sound of the car as it is. It's subtle & seeing as I'm leaving the house at 5am I want to keep it that way really.
Be gutted if it won't fit once I get it. V70 graham has one but he also has an induction kit.

I think I have an old air feed off an old 57i in my dads. Hopefully it will be an easy fix.

I take it your battery has been relocated Greg?
Surely the more straight or progressive the air feed is the more effective it will be?
I really like the look of it, shame the silicone hoses are blue but I can feel a theme coming on. Lol

some of them you can keep it if you shorten the hose going onto the throttle body by 1 inch.

Afaik, it's only the DO88 inlet pipe that disagrees with the airbox.
19t, greens, 3" inlet, 3" downpipe with race cat, V70R catback, autotech map...

Yes Battery is now an AGM race cell in the slot where the CD player was in the boot with an Isolator key as well and there is also a small 24 amp leisure battery located in the centre console under the heater matrix which powers the Alarm/Immobiliser/Central Locking & ECU which is all wired in through the fuse box with a 30 amp fuse.

That Hose is double lined and smooth on the inside and yes it has a bend in it and not direct but you get a nice cold feed I use the 70mm TRW intercooler I think there are still a few floating around.

Skys the limit with hose colour so go for it!
