Out of Curiosity (T5 Engine Related)

I don't necessarily have any intention of doing this, but would the T5 engine from an s60, lets say 2012 model fit into a P2 car?

I'm sure the answer is it's possible with money, but what would be required to do the job?

Possible, but not easy, first off all the turbo pipework is totally different, the engine is also ME9, not ME7.1 as in the P2, I'm sure they'll be other reasons, just the first two off the top of my head.

Didn't they use the same engine as the S40 T5?

Yep. Rebadged it. There was a 235bhp 4-banger badged as a T5 for a bit but nobody liked it so I think it's in the new focus ST.

Are they 235bhp??? I thought it was a diesel chasing me until I slowed to turn off the slip road. Not very quick compared to the old st on the open road.
