    Boost management

    My engine should be finished soon, got some Don Kalmar forged rods, rebuild head etc. I'm currently running a ported 19t with 11 blade turbine and 11 blade billet compressor wheel, will be looking at changing this next year but will stick with this for now, question is the ecu was setup for progressive boost to save the rods (oh well), now that I will have forged can I put an mbc on and whack it up? as long as the AFR's are ok it should be alright?

    Something like that.
    Keep a close eye on the AFRs and if you need more fuel, chuck bigger injectors at it (or up the fuel pressure).

    If you're going for big power, a custom map may be in order.
    19t, greens, 3" inlet, 3" downpipe with race cat, V70R catback, autotech map...

    cool, its more for the way the boost comes in, not going to go mental with high boost levels, just having more boost before 4k if that makes sense

    Go for a good ball/spring valve like a Forge Unos (I believe Munster is selling one) as they wait until a set pressure to open up. Gives a more aggressive spoolup.

    In my opinion with a MBC it will run lean.

    So the only way to go would be a custom map.

    running refurbd blues, AFRs are mid 11's at 20 psi at high revs, dont want to go higher than that but want to bring in the boost earlier than 4k now i will have the forged rods, make more of a power band

    Whar sort of power are you looking to make ?

    What ecu are you running ?

    running a 4.4 ecu, thing about a 20g next year but for now still the 19t, not too worried about the power prob 340ish for now

    You should get around the 340ish mark with blues and a 19T

    The only problem you`ll have is the MAF maxing out.

    Never see many producing over 340 or near it tbh, not saying it's not possible e.g jts car, but you see 5 times as many k24s in that area with little work
