Green HornetAfter spending a slightly damp but very enjoyable Saturday morning at HLM dyno day myself and Steve went to Solihull and collected a M66D gearbox.
As you can see from pedro`s image with the M66D ratios it could give me a top speed of 220+ mph.
(well you could if pedro hadn`t removed the image)
When in 6th gear at the moment 80pmh = 3000rpm but with the M66D 80mph will be a little over 2000rpm.
I`m aware at that rpm I`m not in the "power band" but if I need to knock it down to 4th to get in the "power band" then thats no hardship.
