    850 A pillar guages/guage mount locations

Hey there! so im wanting to put a few guages on my car before i start fiddling with the engine to keep a eye on some things but heres the issue. where to put them?

ill say from the off im not a fan of the right hand vent mount that most people use yes it works ill admit but im picky, i seen a few people who make a plate to go between the ashtray n coin holder disables your ashtray but you can fit 3 down there. But their kinda outta the line of sight obiously not where i want my boost guage ect. ive seen a few a pillar mounts but wondering how people do theirs? i know IPD do a nice proper a pillar mount for them, in LDH only. so anybody know of a mount that works well or should i just go with my original plan of getting a universal one, a spare pillar from a breakers yard one n try Fiberglas the 2 together?

It's easy to do I found the lower or upper drivers side worked well as can take a live from light switch to light it up and easy to get onto the vac pipes underneath in foot well.

Plus as there is 2 still have air flow

It was to be better ...but it was functional and a superb digital gauge with battery conditioner for the first 20 seconds........shame i have been ridiculed, but never mind , worse things have happened especially selling for just £900 with so many extras thrown in!!

.....but what a superb idle figure!...which what really matters...

If that at idle it`s running rich, should be 14.7 - 15.0

Sorry, in a bad mood tonight as others sometimes are......but you should really put your brain into a better gear before you push the button!!

The said guage is talking "psi" as it is digital!

That engine is superb not built from secondhand parts .......i did own it for almost 3yrs!!

    Allowing for error...it is ok...

If it was on battery voltage ,that is also good.......but when hot it ran on idle at least 11/12....

It is not a matter of biting ...it is a matter correctness!

You still have not answered my other post ...or is there NO answer.....JamesT5 is more friendly that some on here he does try to help owners rather than beg for admiration!........ at least he is approachable and does`t wave his willy at every corner of AFR`s...

What about a Zada tech unit? Could fit it to one of these windscreen holders? They appear to be customisable to suit your needs?
