Are you sticking with the b234 complete engine or just putting the 16v head on a b230 block. Silveruser has still got the yoshifab tensioner conversion for sale. So you buying a hx40 next? and forged internals and megasquirt and a top banana clutch and exhaust manifold!

Please point me in the direction of silveruser the head will be mated to a b230ft block forged rods either cossy intake or custom and custom exhaust manifold with regards to megasquirt ive yet to do my reaserch and weather ill tune it my self or have it done else where.
The set up will be nearly the same a as cosworth T34 turbo.
also if you know of any one with a b20 oil pan let me know

do a seller search on ebay for him, it's the retro turbo stuff. You looking to mount it vertically then. If you're putting it in a rhd 240 you'll need it vertical to free up some space.

Not neccessarily, you can mount it slanted as per normal in a 240 - this make life easier from a sump and engine mount point of view.
If you do this though, you'll need to re-think clutch master cyl (if running hydraulic clutch and manual) - you could use an aftermarket cyl and/or pedal box here and mount on the inside of the cabin.
It may also be worth re-thinking the brake booster if you plan to run a very elaborate exh manifold.

There are a few different 240 steering columns, with the knuckle in different places from different years that you could make use of when you're chasing exhaust system clearance.

Obviously you wont run a head mounted dizzy as it just wont clear.

Having the engine on the slant also frees up some space on the intake side too so you can get creative there.

If you go vertical though, you can make use of a B20 sump for clearance but you're then thinking about mounts, etc.

I'd personally go slanted and I'd go with a real ECU rather than a hobbyist ECU like Megasquirt.

Looking forward to some progress pics!
