    16T pic needed

Can anybody take a couple of pics of a 16t fitted so I can see where all pipes go as I've taken delivery of mine to go on the tdi, only it's got a few more holes than my original so I need to do some fabrication.

Also need to 'clock' it as mine needs to run straight down under the engine because there's no room over the top or around

    Cheers

Water pipes go back and front, oil feed top, and return is obviously on the bottom.

Cheers, thought it was but best to check.

Where do the water pipes connect to? I guess there just banjo fittings on the turbo too.

Yep, exactly the same as the oil feed pipe, 17mm head banjo bolt, I may have a couple in the garage if you need some.

I may do yes I'll let you know. Just need to figure out where to get the water from and where to put it back lol, my original is only oil.

I guess I could go from any of the coolant hoses.

Probably, not having examined the route of the coolant pipes on your engine, I can't really advise, likewise I don't know if there's a specific route it should take through the turbo, hopefully someone will be able to let you know.

I don't think it matters which way through the turbo really. And as long as the inlet is somewhere post water pump and the outlet is pretty water pump I think I'll be alright.

Although I have read of people just blanking the water lines on the td04 for tdi applications because they just don't run as hot as a petrol. Think I'll play it safe though...

Just make sure you use copper washers both sides of the bolt or it will piss out everywhere I learnt the hard way

Why is the down pipe of a C70 with an angled 16t such a stupid design?? Why go from 3" diameter to 2" in such a short distance?

Was there a version that's 3" all the way to the cat?
