Diverter/dump valve and Induction vs Panel filter

    Ola!

So I have two questions related to tuning my lump of a V70R.

Firstly - As I am used to VWs ive always uprated the diverter to a Forge 007p - However I understand the 2.5T doesnt need a recirc valve so can vent to atmosphere - So what do you guys use when replacing the original diverter?

Also, again from VWs, post people rate a drilled air box with a panel filter over an induction kit - Is this similar with the Volvo? To avoid sucking in warm air etc?

    Thanks in advance

    Depends...

If it has a throttle cable, you can dump to air, if it's ME7 - electronic throttle - it'll spit it's dummy.

It's possible to tune ME7 for a dump valve, but you're much better with a recirc valve.
