The 740, 850, v70, xc70 s60, v60 and the xc90 are all built in Gothenberg,

I`ve seen with my own eyes.

right just sogged through the last six pages and having done that and managing to get though it, I think I'd better say something rather then waste that time I've just spent.

Right, this thread appears to originally have been based on James personal opinion of what is inferior and not actually fact. So in that case this makes all your cars inferior as the T-5R is undoubtedly the superior car here and anything afterwill, with out doubt be inferior FACT (well in my personal view anyway)

BTW the 855 never won in the UK.

Haha but did you see the right hand drive ones built in Gothenburg..?

It's like buying a posh set of Sheffield knives - the steel may come from China and the handles from Mexico, it's still got "Made in Sheffield" on it.

So a VIN with "made in Gothenberg, Sweden" on it is (ahem) "superior" to one with "made in Belgium" (which isn't a real country) on it

yep the original and the best iirc I think there the only ones that came with the memory passanger seat aswell

That is where the VIN plate is made not the car.

Turn a P3 upside down and it's got "Fabriqe en Chine" written on it

With James logic, he will probably buy a third car as it will save him even more money than just running two at the same time. It will be a C70, then he will say its inferior as it's missing two back doors lol.

Having had both cars (quite a few S60s) all D5's, Id say the S60 is the tighter car, and the V70 is very floaty. Both have superb seats, both are superb in quality whatever spec. Ones thing that p**ses me off about the V70 is the rattles here and there from the rear plastics

Still love the old bus though

no rattles from the rear plastics on my V70 and get your wheel alignment done or new shocks, that will sort out the floaty sensation.
