What gearbox will fit in my '96 855 T5?

Hi peeps,

Will a gearbox from a '99 C70 T5 fit in my '96 850 t5?

If not, would a V70 p1 gearbox fit?

Manual gearbox, not auto.

i`m pretty sure the P1 V70 gearbox will fit but not sure about the C70 box

either of those (C70 or V70) will fit, but as your 850 is pre-ME7 it'll be external slave cylinder while anything after 98/99 will be internal

I'm going to use a C70 box but needs converting to external slave, or you can change yours to internal slave

I've got a M56 box that has a internal slave and the casting on the outside for the external slave.

Wouldn't you be better off with the m66 as it's a lot stronger box

I've got a few manual ones wally 140,000 is the lowest mileage tho
