    Exactly, Robs theoretical speed would probably need something like P2R wheels to work (235/40/18)

    this is how the speeds@6500rpm compares to a normal T-5 M56H. M56H on the left, M56L2 on the right

    1st = 39 33
    2nd = 68 59
    3rd = 101 95
    4th = 138 130
    5th = 172 174

    I`d be happy with that

    It`s ok playing at home with FD`s and ratios if you have time and patience to get it right, but don`t forget it has all been done before!

    Remember when the 5th gear box first came out on production motors........4th gear was the fastest and 5th just a slow overdrive!

    Max. torque at the right revs/mph is the key......

    This is roughly the gear ratios on the auto 2k = 70mph

    Does anybody know if diesel m66 fit a petrol? And what about ratios and approximate mph in each gear.

    Also is the angle gear the same on diesel boxes, I'm thinking of converting a t6 to manual

    it'll bolt straight on the same, but no idea about the angle gear. Not sure if you'll have to get a M66 with matching FDR to the rear axle

    Just found an m66d awd box cheap, but don't think final drive will work for what I want.

    It's the e51 box 197mph
