    850 tdi diesel pump belt.

Interesting day off work yesterday. Jumped in my cheapie run about diesel. Been having some starting issues with it over the last week or so. Car did not want to go at all. Checked the obvious first like fuses / relays etc. Thought I would look at the pump belt to find most of the teeth missing!!! Bought a new belt went to fit it only to find no obvious timing marks. Having read on here that it is needed to be plugged in to time it correct I thought it was ready for the scrap bin. Managed to find a very faint nail polish marks. So lined up and flicked the key. Only fired first time and runs lovely now. Lucky me thinks
