Little bit of an Engine Bay makeover on the R

Having had a few parts sprayed by a friend recently Stribo invited me round to his for a Mini Fix meet to have them fitted plus a few other Mods supplied by IPD Via Jamie at Parts For Volvo.

First to be fitted was the IPD lower transmission torque bush arm kit:

This was followed by all the engine covers and top pipe:

Then theres the IPD top mount and bracket:

The IPD engine torque bar conversion kit:

A new coolant bottle and satin black painted cap and the finished atricle looks like this:

Im very pleased with the outcome.

I want to say a big thank you to Stribo and Oblark for fitting it all, Relfski for the drinks and food which was cooked by HWSNBN, and JudgeNinja for being the audience.

It was a great day mate, nothing better than good weather, good friends, and good food, mixed with a bit of spanner waving.

That looks great quick tip when ever you replace or undo bolts/nuts etc that will be prone to corrosion/rust always fit them back with copper slip on makes everything so easy for the next time they have to come off

500 Nm coming up.......just need to get my ECU to Schweden somehow...and some shims....

Just noticed my brake servo is crammed in next to the turbo, due to LHD

    That looks epic!!

As luck would have it, one of mine has a colour coded under bonnet also.

    The car is silver.

Yours is much more impressive though if I'm honest!

    Lol
