    Ice Warning and 2C...?

For some reason my car decided that the OAT temperature was 2C and there was an Ice risk earlier on. Strange because the Aircon still worked lovely! If the OAT is too low then the A/C won't work, the cut off is an OAT of 6C according to the manual so the car knows it's no 2C but tell me porkies.

    How strange!

There are 2 (or at least there are on the P1) OAT sensors, one for the air con, and one for the dash readout.

There should be one under drivers wind mirror and one in dash. Has it had the DIM replaced? Anything odd on the dash seems to link to a faulty DIM.

The one in the drivers door mirror does the display and the AC.

I know that because mine read -15 to -45 for a while and the AC wouldn't work. Most likely cause is the connection in the big green plug in the drivers door switchpack gone furry.

Considering your AC works, it's probably worth checking the passenger door connection too.
