    New engine

Just been to Volvo for a diagnostic check.....all good. Then driving back home. BANG. I have had a look over have no compression in 2 cylinders. Took the head off, no visable damage to valves or anything. Stumped. New engine going in found a 56k miles engine for less than rebuilding head etc.

Anyone have any ideas, I was thinking burnt valves but no visable symptoms.

What do u mean no compression?Should be something at least, any damage to the cylinder walls, all the pistons moving when rotating the engine (if not conrod is not connected to the crank) if they do broken compression rings. Also what was the compression in the other cylinders?
