    turbo rebuild pics??

    im about to take my turbo apart to have a gander to see why it smokes and to see what race gap seals and uprated bearings look like!! anyways before I do does anybody have any pics as to how it goes back together?


    full respray..plenty of body mods..comets..ray cat back noise pipe..decat and wrapped downpipe..me7 exhaust manifold..3" throttle body with ported inlet manifold..blue injectors..adjustable fuel reg..reverse intercooler pipework..19t..open cone air filter..255 fuel pump..m-r-p short shift..boost gauge..unknown remap..adjustable suspension..lightweight crank pulley..n/a cams..stripped out interior..and a heavy right foot

    Not doubting your mechanical ability but don't turbo shafts have to be balanced so if your disturbing it it may need redoing?

    As I got told, mark the wheels position on the shaft with something before removal, that way you can put it back in the same place.

    i did the same painted the shaft and the wheel prior to removal, didnt ever have a issue

    of course if your changing the wheel for a new one then they may be a issue

    There's no issue in changing wheels as they are pre balanced.

    As claymore says above .....each moving part in the turbo is balanced in it`s own right so when assembled it is still balanced......
