    Can anyone tell me what this part of the turbo is and what it does? Pic below....

    thats the recirc valve, works a bit like a dump valve

    Ah right........... Then begs the question, if I was to want to fit a dump valve instead could this be blanked off so that the dump valve worked to full effect?

    Yes, you just need a blanking plate to replace the recirc valve.

    Much easier to stick a one-way valve in the hose that operates the recirc
    19t, greens, 3" inlet, 3" downpipe with race cat, V70R catback, autotech map...
