I think if you were going to pay around the 35-45k for a car the choice around that price band is nice,but like I said company car tax changed around then,so the company bean counters have more say what you could have/get.
Just looking on online sales all the V70R for sale are autos ?,and they cost more then the manual cars by 1k when new.

Well last week i was away on business covered 800 miles started from Brighton then to Grantham in Lincolnshire, then up to Leigh in Manchester, then down to Liverpool and then down to Llanelli South Wales and back to Brighton no R's spotted however spotted a couple of Audi R8's, Orange Lotus Esprite and even a Lamborghini Diablo, although it was on a back of a to truck LOL. In my book makes me think the R's are pretty rare, i can do this level of driving at least once a month i have spotted only x2 V70R's in that time a Green V70 R near clacket lane services and LeeT5's black one.
It's official then. They are rare, both S60R and V70R models.
