Pipercross did a foam cone & the viper kit for the 850 (they used BT as the template). Having tried both I wouldn't bother with the viper, but the cone was a lot better than the K&N 57i kit I used to have
THANKS for that mate! i had a sponge pipercross cone on my old gull saloon and thought it was great! only thing is had to DIY the old fitment side of things as the filter i used was not meant for the car!
Got a blue bsr cone hanging around somewhere a little grubby...... 25 quid plus postage

I got a k&n 571 kit on mine. Meant to be for a fiat coupe but works well.
Still got a shiny stainless jobbie if you change your mind mate, put the new one on tonight.

Got an old discovery now.
Thanks MRP but don't really want a paper cone filter or stainless steel as it only rusts mate. Prefer the sponge type filters personally as there much easier to maintain and clean too
Stainless wont rust. If its chrome coated it will. If its stainless a magnet wont stick unless its 409l which is magnetic
s60 2.4 t5 eibach springs,up rated rear anti roll bar, poly bushed wishbones, poly lower engine mount, fmic, bmc air filter, 3" decat, 2.5" stainless exhaust, hlm remap 328bhp,
You can get ramair foam cone filters on eBay at good prices.
It's a 5 Cylinder Orchestra!
