    Thumbs up After market cone filter

    Hi guys does anyone know if anyone does a proper fitting k&n style or pipercross induction kit for the good ole 850 T5/T5-r? many thanks

    Pipercross did a foam cone & the viper kit for the 850 (they used BT as the template). Having tried both I wouldn't bother with the viper, but the cone was a lot better than the K&N 57i kit I used to have

    THANKS for that mate! i had a sponge pipercross cone on my old gull saloon and thought it was great! only thing is had to DIY the old fitment side of things as the filter i used was not meant for the car!

    I got a k&n 571 kit on mine. Meant to be for a fiat coupe but works well.

    Still got a shiny stainless jobbie if you change your mind mate, put the new one on tonight.
    19t, greens, 3" inlet, 3" downpipe with race cat, V70R catback, autotech map...

    Thanks MRP but don't really want a paper cone filter or stainless steel as it only rusts mate. Prefer the sponge type filters personally as there much easier to maintain and clean too

    Stainless wont rust. If its chrome coated it will. If its stainless a magnet wont stick unless its 409l which is magnetic

    You can get ramair foam cone filters on eBay at good prices.

    Bsr make the nicest looking filters imo. Look in my pictures and you will see it
