    brake pedal travel

    Hi all
My C70 03 2.0t auto has a brake pedal that just keeps on going to the floor,
I tried pumping it but it doesn't bite. The brakes will slow you down while the pedal is travelling to the floor but when the pedal is at the floor they stop working, whether the engine be running or not.

I would greatly appreciate any help or advice please, thanks for any help in advance

    Simon

hi simon,it sounds as if you have a leak somewhere in the system....have you lost any brake fluid at all...what happens if you pump the brake pedal with the engine not running, does it still fall to the floor?? ,,,,,,if so it could be a leak somewhere or if you havnt lost any fluid then you may well have a brake master cylinder problem..(fluid passing the seals).
