Volvo Dyno Shoot-out day at HLM, Bromsgrove - Saturday October 4th, 2014

Power run day at HLM Bromsgrove on their Dynojet dyno (single roller)
35 of your English pounds in cash (1 pound surcharge for cards) on the day will secure you 3 runs including a print out on their rolling road.

It is assumed that the cars running on the dyno will have oil and water in the correct amounts in the right places beforehand, even so all owners will have to sign a disclaimer (full T&Cs available from HLM) so if your car does for some reason split it guts/rods or other important parts HLM are not liable.

HLM reserve the right refuse access onto the dyno for any vehicle at any time. They have the final say.

I would like to have numbers finalised on Tuesday 30th September 2014. I will be inviting all comers from all main Volvo Performance forums (T5D5 & VolvoTuning.net). I would prefer to limit to Volvo only but I am not that bothered.
I may even put up some trophies for the highest peak torque & highest peak power.

Teas & Coffee will be made available & Big Dave's cafe is but a short walk away (open from 07:30) who is more than capable of satisfying the largest appetites.

So getting tuning & Come and 'ave a go if you think you're fast enough.

Please put your names below if you're interested. (Unlimited numbers).

AWD cars can run/ have been run - I believe that would involve removing the haldex fuse. Contact HLM if you are at all worried about it.

I fully realise this & no I am not getting drawn into the debate. It is technically possible but down to each AWD owner to consider it. Caveat - I don't think the viscous type AWD can be disconnected without some labour so lets not go there either.

Yes I'm up up for this. Does anyone know if I could get my car remapped whilst there? Just a case of swapping Ecu's?

Yep just a case of swapping ECU's mate, although you'll only get an off the shelf map. At £150 though the £ to grin factor ratio is very well proportioned!

I'm only after a small increase, it's 225 with a bleed valve but finding it to be like an on off switch so if I got 250 without it that would be more than enough for me, still reliable and hopefully a bit better on fuel (sad I know lol).
