anyone successfully using a single piston dump valve

So it looks like the Kinugawa dump valve is a single piston one, i know the rule is you use a twin piston if you've got a MAF but wondered if anyone's used a single piston one & got away with having no issues from it

blanking plate it is then lol. I'm surprised they stay open after dumping the excess boost, especially as they come with different rate springs so can control the pressure it opens & closes at

My S40 has a single piston, I don't have a MAF or Lambda sensor so get no problems.
