Cat Back Systems, 2" or 3" and which one?

There'll be a few mods happening in the following months to my T5. Hopefully Shem will be putting an ME7 16t and Jap Manifold on it, RIP kit, new down pipe with Sports CAT, and a Cat Back system and mapping the ecu to suit.

Thing is, what cat back system to go for? The downpipe/cat will be coming from Graeme Welch, but he's not got a jig for an 850 exhaust at the moment.

    Any suggestions?

The downpipe will more than likely be 3", so was thinking 2.5 or 3" cat back. Where would you go t get one?

What ever you opt for. Find a company that use mandrel bends and wont chop off the oe fitting cause they cant be bothered to put the effort in to duplicate them

If you want a decent after market system for a friendly price, there's only one man for the job, Mr Welch.

C'mon Graeme, surely we can tempt you to make up a jig for the 850

Yeah, the Cougar owners club had a group buy with them, but there have been issues, the rubbers they fit seem to go quite quickly, and from what I saw their pipe's aren't mandrel bent either. Also their 'stainless' tailpipes seem to show signs of rust quite quickly. I know there are people that are happy with their systems though.

Apologies for hi-jacking your thread but does anyone have any videos of these exhaust on their 850's? Does he remove the mid-section silencer? (I think its a silencer)

Bit of a trot but well worth it.
Fast road conversions built my cat back system and they use mandrel pipe benders. Quality of their work is 'shamazing'! The drive home makes it worth while.
There in Ashford, Kent. Not a million miles away.
