Have you tried doing a fault code test? (not sure which type the T5R has)

First thing to do is check all connections there is also a vacume hose which goes to the tree on the manifold make sure its all secure how is the car running if its missing etc check connections on injectors

Got an old discovery now.
Ide check the vacume line also check things around that area so see if its been dislodged failing all of that try the obd1 codes through the flashing lights and if nothing try your old injectors in

As yours is an early 850 it`s the flashing lights by the ECU.

No idea mate, just thought it funny that 3 of you posted up asking what the problem was.
