    Frank im with claymore on this one, it makes no sense at all that only the exhaust side has slipped, if the belt had slipped due to tensioner failure both would have slipped not just one side.

    However as you have another head coming, hopefully all parts from the same engine, it should eliminate the above problem. I personally would change the pistons for forged ones at the same time purely for piece of mind

    Cheers si I'm not into changing pistons as have lost my use of a 4 post lift

    One thing in your favour Frankie......if you just replace the head it won`t happen again as the dents are already in the pistons!
