Will I gain anything by getting a manual boost controller for a 15 g turbo?

Not an expert! But any car I've been in and had that's had one fitted made a HUGE difference! I have not long ago bought a MBC for my 855 t5r (not fitted yet) but fitted one to my previous 854 t5r and it made a massive difference and was the best thing I ever done to the car in my eyes just be careful and don't turn it up too high! HAPPY BOOSTING

    Firstly is your car mapped??

An mbc basically let's you control how much boost you have but unlike a map it's there almost instantly therefore some restraint is required with the load pedal ie not flooring it till 3k, you have less chance of bending a rod with a 15 but it's still possible, oh and your gonna need a decent boost gauge as well

Usually find the 15g will run out of puff at around 5,200rpm and will struggle to hold a high boost ie 20psi

But yes you will notice a difference lol

An mbc will bring in the boost earlier but you will lose top end push, they are alot of fun though with instant boost

As said above and tbh the car will drive better with just the map as the map and boost controller with the 15g will just give you lots a wheel spin then little power after that better to have a nice steady curve for the power coming in

When i had an mbc fitted, it was fantastic in traffic because of its instant boost. Many people have used them without bending rods, you just have to be sensible.
