In the last few days the car has started juddering when pulling off and when you left off the throttle and come back on it feels jerky like there's play in a mount etc. haven't had a look yet but anyone got any ideas where to start?
Thanks.

Ok thanks, if it's not the mounts what happens to the flywheel? Are they not single mass on 850s?
Is it clutch judder mate? Pop in and i will take a look

Ill be reading this one sounds like the same problem I have. Whar are the ypper and lower tourque mounts?
I would guess the clutch has had a bit of a workout & if the car was loaded it's got a bit hot,I have the same problem with the works van when I have been towing a heavy trailer it normally takes a couple hundred miles to get back to normal.

Sounds like clutch judder, they can go on for ages like that before slipping

Have a look underneath where the box joins the engine and see if it is leaking any oil!

It is alittle bit wet underneath but last time I check the rear main appeared to be ok and it has had a new clutch in it few years ago. How much of a job is it to fitted a clutch and rear main?
Sachs Guidline time is 5.6 hrs to do the clutch, add a little extra for the seal,
Ive done it 3 times and its a Ball ache lol, some deranged peeps enjoy it lol

Ive done it once by Leaving the Subframe hanging down on the LHS with the steering rack supported this is the proper way i believe, and ive done the last two which were gearbox changes by droping the whole engine and box down as the box is heavy. The later i found easier but dont forget this was all done on the floor no lifts just axle stands and two trolly jacks.
The time quoted above will be with the use of a lift and all proper equipment by two trained mechanics/fitters
Does sound and look like quite a job cheers for the explanations. I've just been in it and it does feel a lot better but it's still there abit, the problem really showed up on the way back from spain we double drove it the whole way back and apart from 4 hours off it ran continually for 22hours back to calais so must of been very hot.
