Going to fit black powerflex upper engine mount

Yes that's right I am going to fit a black powerflex engine bush bush to my V70R,after all the flack JamesT5 had you would think I must be MAD to do the same, well not quite.

Little while ago I got the yellow powerflex top engine bush to fit, but I just couldn't bring myself to fit a bright yellow bush on the engine as it's just looks so odd, got me thinking how can I change the colour of it.

It turned out to be very easy I got some polyurethane plastic dye in powdered form and this is what they turn out like.

    Top face you can see.

    Side on

Inside to prove they were yellow.

They do look very black in daylight,it only took me about 1/2 hour from start to finish.
I now think I have the best of both worlds.

Looks nice but I reckon you should still be publicly lynched... All that black dye is gonna adversely affect handling and make the back wheels turn into jammie dodgers.
19t, greens, 3" inlet, 3" downpipe with race cat, V70R catback, autotech map...

Don't do it, the ride will be rock hard, and with all the extra vibration, your ears will fall off.

The paint will no doubt degrade the polyurethane and the bush will fail resulting in a Volcano eruption in Peru....how inconsiderate of you.

When the world ends we know it will be because of you & your black bush

The dye is designed for polyurethane,it's not paint ,just tried to rub it off no chance anytime soon.

Sure that was a option you could pick but not sure what it would look like.

True but the feed back is the vibrations make it into the cabin with the real black ones.

The yellow range one is a lot softer than the purple range.

Nothing wrong with a black bush, especially as it's yellow on the inside.
