    S/V40 Headlights on a V70 P1

Okay i've seen plenty that it "doesn't work", but i've also seen that you "can't fit a standard strut brace to a TDi", and that happened.
So, has anyone tried this, or does anyone know what exactly the issue is with getting them to fit?
Do they physically fit but the screw holes not line up? or are they just a totally different shape?
My indicators both have broken clips (terrible design) and are now duct taped in, but not after one coming out at 80-odd (on a private test track officer) and ruining all the paint from it bouncing around
plus the headlights lights suck balls. at least i don't really need them these days

i'm also much too cheap to pay £350 for lights.
been trying to get some on ebay, found one guy with them for a good price but then sold them.
