Can someone tell me were this pipe connects upto?

    Afternoon all,

Ive found a pipe in my engine bay which is only connected at one end and has had a screw wedged in to block the other end.

Can someone help me out and tell me were the other end connects upto?

My finger is pointing at the pipe in question

possibly by the sound of things. Does this pipe go all the way to the EGR valve on the turbo?

Think that pipe usually connects to the recirc valve on the turbo, but is obviously normally a lot longer. Posibly it has been cut for a dump valve at some time in the past.

Hi this pipe probably goes to the recirc. valve or to a blow off valve, but as long as it is tapped maybe another pipe form the vacuum tree goes there now.check it out.IIRC on the vacuum tree only two pipes are used, one for the fuel pr. regulator and one for the boost gauge.so if you see three pipes the one goes to the recirc. valve.
