I have purchased a good weather guarantee for the weekend, as I've just ordered the sides, doors and groundsheet for the event shelter, so that should put a stop to us getting damp, unlike last weekend....lol

Friday mid-day I'm hoping and then I will spread myself over a large enough area to accommodate everybody I hope, well thats the plan as some won't be there till saturday

Firewood cut and bagged, Shelter sides, doors and groundsheet have arrived (so the weather should be fine) just got to find area down there big enough to accommodate us all. Was wondering whether to use the car park at Llyn Brenig as the meeting point this year, as the cafe's car park is a bit small for all of us

Think we'll have to meet about 1.30pm at the lake on the Sunday as the tidal road from Shell Island will be closed until 12.07pm as I don't think anyone will be wanting to rush out before the tide comes over the road at approximately 9.00am

A list of who might pop along on sunday could be handy, so we know who will be meeting us at the lake at 13.30hrs (sat nav post code LL21 9TT ) anyone wanting to pop along for any part of the weekend we will be at LL45 2PJ just look for a large number of Volvo's or an Iveco zombie swat van LL21 9TT )

Warning for V-power users the Shell site in welshpool no longer exists from a few weeks ago (hate to think what went into my tank before York and whether it was even shell, let alone V-Power (but that's another story). On the way in from the midlands Ford services west of Shrewsbury will be your last Shell services, until Betws-y-Coed on the sunday. Don't know if I'll be in a Volvo, the car is still smoking, but I'm hoping it's just burning off the oil in the exhaust, probably go for it anyway

I've loaded allsorts into the car today, it will be a good test if the nivomats can level her, think if she were a boat the plimsoll line would be severely below the water line....lol. I have a couple of instant bbq's and gas rings etc, fire-pit wood etc to load tomorrow. I sure I've brought too much but I don't envisage leaving till monday/tuesday, as I'm not shifted back in till wednesday night, might as well make the most of it, whilst the weather lasts

What a fantastic weekend so far, a good run out yesterday with a bit of 'spirited' driving. Now just chilling before tackeling the triangle.lots of pics and videos to put up later this evening.

Well, I'm home and very tired, Unfortunately the videos have turned out to be a disaster but I'll see what I can salvage, but I'll get some pics up for now
