    remapping 2.5 lpt?

right guys, well i looked at an 850 t5r at weekend and decided mine was far superior so going to give that a miss. but i want to know if anybody on here has had their 2.5 lpt remapped and what sort of power upgrade i am likely to get. RICA say for £419 about 235bhp and 380 torque. anyone recommend a remapping company in south of england? or is this an ok price? only ever used superchips before for my remaps and they are well expensive. cheers guys

I'd be very surprised if you get those kind of figures mate.

There's other maps available for around 300 quid, maybe less.

Just going off what their website says. Any other places I can try. Don't want to spend a fortune, but also don't want to billions it up.

That's the place that quote £419 on their website. Nearest one to me is in tonbridge in Kent. Have you had yours done. Much difference?

hi mate it all depends what the ultimate plan is for the car, Mark changed his turbo, blue injectors and exhaust with a Rica map and got 272bhp.

Mine which is quite a bit more modified with hybrid K24, do88 intercooler, GWE 3" MAF to Turbo pipe, green injectors, 3" Miltek downpipe and scorpion exhaust, later V70R MAF 76mm with a massive cone filter and cold air feed made 360whp before it spun a shell, my fault i forgot to upgrade and move the engine oil cooler, this was all on the standard ME7 2.5T engine. Now the MAP for this was fully custom and cost me about £800 and is going to cost me a further £200ish for tweeking once i have my S60R forged engine fitted.

So as you can see it all depends how far you want to go and spend.

There is a post on here somewhere showing mine running 304whp or 349bhp somewhere, possibly in my project thread
