Got 1 stray braided earth strap that i seem to remember might have been attached to the distributor housing when i took the head off. Can't quite remember so thought someone might know or have a look at their 740/940.
From the black box on the bulk head there's 2 braided earths. one of them runs to the rocker cover its the second one that i'm not sure on.

Thanked 2,582 Times in 2,051 PostsI seem to remember there were two earth straps that go from the rocker cover nut to the chassis on my old 940. They went to each side of the rocker cover at the distributor end, one should be longer than the other hopefully.
