    Ello big fella

I believe Hamish has the means to flash these things. Worth giving him a call.

In the time I have been repairing ABS ECUs over the last 7 years - I have not heard of the requirement to code the ABS ECU to your car, not for the C70 Coupe for your model year at least. The repair either works or it doesn't (resoldering the pins). Usually the fault will clear itself or you can clear via ODB2.

What codes is it sending. If it is more than 1 corner then it is more likely a fault with the ECU & I would look to swap again just to be sure.

sadly it is the nature of the beast that it will be the last thing you try will be the fix. Good that you have it fixed finally.
