advice please?

When I put my car into first gear and it reaches biting point it shuddas and bangs this has been happening for awhile but it seams to have got worse? Its had a new clutch at 220,000 full kit from volvo its now at 240,000 checked all engine mounts and everythings solid? What cud this be? Thanks

Just looked at you profile, so I'm assuming the Gul 850..??

It will be SMF so unless that has failed it could be that your gearbox is begining to eat itself??
I can't think of anything else whilst sitting on my mobile.

You say the engine mounts are solid, so I'm not sure what else... Unless the clutch has prematurely failed.??

Did Volvo fit the clutch.....seems very low mileage for failure.

If you running decent power you could have done your clutch in easily within 20k

just has a mapped 15g in it

if the smf was shagged then it reduce the life of the clutch by a lot. your smf has covered a lot of miles and probobly should of been skimmed or replaced

Yes sorry forgot to put down my car its for my gul mate it changers gear perfect its just wen it hits the biting point and the clutch is from volvo

Clutch or fly wheel problem as it doesnt seem to be biting correctly would be my first point of call

If I need to change my clutch wats the best one and will I need to skim my fly wheel or get a new one? Thanks for the advice

clutch plates are worn out, time for new clutch and get smf skimmed

If I skim the fly wheel will that be like new then I have a guy round my area that can do it but thks anyway
