Is a 99 V70 auto est with 250k worth 700

It looks good in the photos, but I thought for the miles it's a bit much, as I've saw a couple with less miles for the same cash, I know the seller might come n go....just wondered

To be honest, even I would be quite hesitant about buying a car - any car - with that kind of mileage, unless its to be a project/toy. Even with great maintenance, its likely that any component with moving parts will be worn and needing replacement - I'm thinking of the alternator, starter, aircon pump, PAS pump, steering rack, gearbox, diff, bearings etc etc. And thats from me, after having just bought a V70 with 173k up lol.

I always say, something is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it!

James yes you're right...I was looking at T5's again but the few I saw (auto est's) are all miles from me

Stick with below average mileage with fsh history & you'll be laughing but I would never buy another car with over 180,000 miles again after my volvo. It would of been a much better experience if I didn't have loads of little time consuming jobs & then the big jobs.
A 98 v70 t5 manual went for £740 today on eBay with 129k on it. Pre me7 model.
I know where my money would go.
