    v70 AWD

I've been on here for about a year or so now, But haven't really started many threads.

I bought my 1998 v70 2.5Turbo AWD Last easter weekend (2013) It was completly standard when i first bought it. Since buying it i've done a RIP kit, air Filter, Aftermarker back box after finding a hole in my back box, HIDs, Blanked off Re-Circ, wind deflectors, New headunit And a Subwoofer.
I bought it with 166k on and Its just ticked over to 196300 tonight, Its not missed a beat. I was thinking about selling it and buying an s60 d5 due to the amount of miles i do and how much i spend on fuel. But tonight a mate has offered me his 850 TDI for the cost of the repair bill (£100-£300) Taxed and Tested with a full tank of V Power Diesel too.

850 Story - My mate bought it as he was spending too much money on fuel in his v70 2.5T so he planned on changing alot from the v70 to the 850, We transferred the full front end, All the doors and the boot. We then changed the interior to the v70 full leather interior and he changed the wiring from the v70 to the 850, after doing that it decided it didnt want to start, we tried changing things back but we couldn't get it to start, so he sent it off to a garage to be fixed, He then bought himself a Saab 9-3 Estate 1.9 Diesel.

So I've been toying with the idea of taking my v70 off the road, putting a t5 lump in with a few nice little upgrades and renewing as many of the suspension components as possible, Since I was offed the 850 at such a cheap price I thought it would be a good Idea to start my plan of the v70.
I already have quite a good base to start with, the AWD system works 100% and its Manual, body work is OK but i'll hopefully get a few bits sorted while its off the road.

I'm hoping to get my v70 to around 300bhp, I'm planning on putting in a t5 lump, a bigger turbo (19t) Bigger injectors, possible port and polish the head, N/A cams and a re-map. I'm hoping to have it all done and back on the road for August time, Ready for a little bit of sun.

In the mean time the 850 is going to get a turbo back exhaust made by GWE in a few weeks, and i'll be getting a tuning box for it, just to give it a little kick up the back side.

Now for a few pictures of my v70.. 850 pictures will come when i pick it up

I don't know how easy it is to get 300 hp on the low pressure turbos but I have read good reports about remapping them on this forum somewhere. I think Smithy did it with his..?

    Nice colour!
