grip LSD getting the power down

I'm starting a bit of homework for my next motor,

I run my 850na 20v as my everyday, and everytime I think its time to scrap it (its got a few miles on it now), it highlights my lack of maintenance and "attention to detail", I really rate the 850 - it's probably the best motor I've ever owned - she's std on goodyear eff 205 16

My PII T5 is my holiday motor I try to keep it imaculate and it takes up the slack when the 850 needs work and its fairly nice to drive although needs the rear suspension sorting - again she's std on goodyear 17"

So I'm thinking about a toy, - I'm thinking of selling my 1964 mini and getting - another 850

    a gul or an r - or .................

So I was at a mates the other night he took me for a spin in his "very sorted" bright green focus (v-nice) - and it highlighted the lack of contact both my motors have with the road - so did any of the 850's run LSD or is this a mod and how do others get it on the road........

850r manuals came with a lsd but the most popular way to gonis gripper or quarfe or how ever its spelt ive got the quarfe fitted to mine its a massive improvement.
remember tho the difference in suspension etc between the focus and old t5 are miles appart with technology if your wanting really good feel and handleing try some kw coilovers they seen to get good reviews

Mine has a Gripper fitted, can't comment about it, as I've yet to drive her!

Your not a million miles from me, so maybe a meet can be arranged, once I've got her back on the road!

Actually that page shows both - and yes they are not cheap. And you have to factor in fitting costs & probably want to refurb the box when you have it done.

TBH if you're in need of an LSD for driving on the road then I think it necessary to slow down a bit.

So if I fit a quaife, I'll be getting near enough the same times as you on the 1/4, with just a bleed valve.
