My 850R is a film star! Well, not quite - but it does have a bit-part in the latest short film by Perspective Pictures, the film company led by the very talented, 19 year old, Rupert Rixon, for whom I did the special effects on this and his previous, 6 part YouTube series, The Fallen.
My car played "car in car park" in the window breaking scene, filmed in a scrap yard in Hertfordshire. Explosive effects were by yours truly. I got paid, but sadly my 850R didn't get an appearance fee, as the total budget was only £500.

I was glad I hadn't washed it, as after we'd finished filming at the scrappy, we went off to the woods, in the middle of nowhere, to film the camping scenes! The wood was as the end of a very, VERY muddy farm track - I didn't get stuck, but it was only the second time I've had one of my Volvos loose traction
