    Two reasons....

    1) My thread, my rules.

    2) I'm off to get the car now, and by the time I get back it will be too late (I'm up again at 0330)

    Update :

Well.....finally almost 8 weeks after the rolling road day I think I have the problem sorted.

As most of you know I took the do88.se intake pipe off and replaced it with a genuine Volvo item, I then (with a lot of help from M-R-P) went about checking everything else was ok with the car.....tcv, actuator etc before hitting a brick wall, the fuelling problem still remained even though I was sure it wasn't a 'hardware' issue.
I was in constant contact with Chad at GRN who originally put the map on the car last April and he did then say it looked like the map could be the cause.

Fast forward to last Sunday and the big fella turned up at my house to collect the car having travelled down on the train !

Got the phone call yesterday afternoon (no April fool thankfully) saying the car was ready, apparently the map had to be modified by RICA to alter the fuelling and boost, after which Chad ran the car on a dyno local to him to check everything was as it should be.

I went up yesterday to collect it to find not only had he solved the problem but he also had cleaned the car and filled it up with V-Power as well !

I cannot praise the customer service from GRN highly enough, it's only when there is a problem do we really find out what 'customer service' means.

I will have no hesitation in travelling back up to GRN (as I have done several times before) for Benny/Chad to work on my car again, thank you guy's

The latest (and last) graph, showing 263.3 bhp and 311 ft/lb of torque, the drive home last night was a pleasure.....normal service has been resumed.

Shouldn't the dyno have been set to "shoot5"?

Why did the RICA map have to be altered ? I thought a "standard" remap was meant to run on any standard car or are you running a non standard car ?

It's only the RIP kit that's different now. The map just didn't like the car I guess. I went through every physical possibility on the car, even building an actuator test rig and found nothing wrong. It could only have been the map.

So much for the RICA remap ECU`s

You would have thought that the map would have any problems ironed out !!!

You are right Rob, but the map's are a few years old now, not saying it's the cause but for example we didn't have V-Power Nitro back in 1998
