Erratic idle only

Hi i have a V70 T5 Manual with 133k on the clock.
The rev counter jumps from 600 to 1100 continuously after starting up after a couple of minutes.
The car runs fine, no stalling or difficult starts,no lights come on just erratic idle all the time.The ETM has the white label is this the problem?, and are volvo the only ones who can sort this problem out i live in Dorset.

Maybe worth taking it off and giving it a good clean

Could well be the ETM. if you get a P0121 code at some point in the future then that would further back up the theory.
