1995 Colin? Didn't they stop making the 360 in '91

I've posted this before but here it is again

    Attachment 23733

The Porsche 911 carrera will appear in 2 seconds.

What you are looking is a Volvo 850 T5 leaving behind a Ferrari 512 TR. Its a very simple test: Test the acceleration between 50-70 miles per hour(80-112km/h) at top gear(the type of acceleration you need for overtaking a longer vehicle).

the Volvo does manouver in 7,2seconds. Ferrari 512 TR needs 8,2seconds. That's good, its only 1 seconds slower, but at 70 miles per hour, one second its equivalent to 100 feet(more than 30 meters - more or less three long vehicles). The Porsche 911 carrera doesn't appear in this picture. Needs 9,3 seconds more or less, to do this test.

But be fair, This is a test in top gear. If you do this in the lower gear, both sports cars will win the Volvo. Although, as a measure of the engine flexibility, the higher gears are the point of reference. In any case, How many sofas could be fitted in the rear of a Ferrari??

    and....

The reason is heat from the turbo on the Brakes in RHD however you could buy the R sport conversion kit

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RADIO-TIME...5#ht_82wt_1399

Be warned some of the stuff he sells is a bit 'specialist'!!

Or the University of Sussex seem to have copies

my favourites are the Volvo snow race :

    http://www.streetfire.net/video/volv...ion_727537.htm

and the 850 r advert where it was parked in a line of cars and the dog cocked its leg up all the cars, but not the Volvo - advertising genius as it won prizes.

Edit: Got it, I'll post up a pic once i get it , I've been looking for this picture for about 10 years, I used to have the original instant camera stills, but they were lost years ago.
