You expect anything else when buying a engine from niles. Everything about the bloke is dodgy.

......and i would not expect anything less from you either!!............Slating a Volvo enthusiast who you have probably never ever met as he only lives 8 miles from me and has done work on my motor for virtually a pittance. His work is second to none but he doesn`t claim it like you do all the time and sadly i never got to find out if your work was any good either as you sent me my money back.

He used all top quality parts for that engine as i saw all the parts and the boxes or wrappers they were in so don`t accuse him of being "dodgy"........you probably rip off more Volvo members with your pipes with some blow holes in and the paint to cover them up and also the horrendous price you charge for something just made in the back garden.

Niles (Andrew) doesn`t use the internet much any more because he is fed up with all the bickering about, and that sort of thing is not himself so he doesn`t bother and with posts like yours i don`t blame him either.

Come pick on me and i will give you a run for your money which others will enjoy also.

Sorry to hear this Frankie and i totally agree with 960kgs about this engine as i saw it being built up and the parts used on it, When i went down to see Niles for my bumper and wing he showed me exactly what had been used on the engine and tbh most of it was gen volvo stuff apart from the rods which were forged. I personally cant fault Niles yes maybe he is a little slow getting back to you sometimes but he does get back to you.

I also cant fault Graemes work as he got me out of the poo poo when i needed the 3" MAF to turbo pipe for my K24, he made and had it delivered too me in less than 24 hours, i cant fault that service either.

Talk to Niles as he built the engine and may be able to give some insight to what went wrong.........he is a superb guy to get on with, he really knows his Volvo`s through hard work and getting directly involved.

Mind you i don`t think members know him personally so far away in Kent on the South Coast!!
