    rear suspension mounts?

    on my p2 v70 the rear top mounts should have 3 bolts inside the car but one has sheared off and one wont tighten, what can i do to remedy this.

    Hi.

    Firstly, are you for real with that username??

    Anyway, regards your issue, I think the answer is blindingly obvious!! Your going to have to strip the rear suspension out and replace your Top mounts. This time, Torq them up rather than hanging off a spanner.

    hi Paul, nice to see you back.
    one option is to just leave it alone. if it hasn't fallen to bits or started rattling about, you'll be able to change the shocks without touching the mount. I can't remember exactly weather or not you need to drop the springs to get the mount out but it's not too hard a job.

    mounts aren't expensive either.
    19t, greens, 3" inlet, 3" downpipe with race cat, V70R catback, autotech map...

    Yeah i must pick a better username i suppose.
    Nice to hear from you M-R-P.
    How do i get hold of G Welch or T Williams parts?
    Im in Reading stribo so any hands on would be welcome.
    Any advice on anything more than welcome.
    I just cannot let the old T5 go as have had so much fun this past year including that time with the VRS (better look next time).
